Overview


The Desktop Support Technician is a full-time position that provides computer maintenance, technical support and a high level of customer service to a growing client base. The successful candidate will join a team based in the Dallas area, providing both project and support services to new and existing clients.


Responsibilities


Responsibilities include support of clients’ computers and networks at the clients’ locations. This will include occasional after-hours, nights and weekend work. Specifically, the job responsibilities are as follows:

• Hardware and software installation, configuration, and maintenance
• System upgrades and troubleshooting
• Printer setup and print server support
• E-mail / Android / iPhone Support
• Installation and maintenance of anti-virus and anti-spam software
• Installation and maintenance of all Microsoft desktop and server OS
• Support all Microsoft software including Office and Exchange
• Provide support for varying clients and personalities


Qualifications


• Have a working knowledge of Microsoft OS and software
• Have strong technical ability and troubleshooting skills
• Be able to effectively operate within company guidelines, policies and procedures
• Must be able to respond quickly, competently and patiently with multiple demanding clients and end users
• Customer service experience in supporting demanding clients and end users is a plus
• Be able to excel in a fast paced team environment and accept changes quickly
• Candidates must be currently located in the Dallas area and have reliable transportation
• Technical certifications a plus
